Zupitza-Davis: "the letters preceding an, about which Zupitza was uncertain, appear clearly as hr" (p. xiii); usual conjectural restoration [gehr]an.

6. [h]e gebolgen: .......bolgen A, ......bolgen B; now bolgen is still distinct; before it UV reveals hege, but top of h-shaft damaged by holes.

7. a bit of left side of æ covered.

15. him AB; only a tiny bit of the first stroke of h gone (not covered).

16. þæt wyrd A, .yrd altered to wyrð with another ink B; now only rd entire, of y the greater part left, and before it a clear trace of the descender of w covered; crossed þ, once at beginning of line, now entirely gone.
