Formerly the first prefixed leaf, but removed from the codex in 1913, this folio is now fol. 37r in the partly restored Latin psalter in British Library Royal MS 13 D. I*.

Although gone, this leaf is still counted as folio 1v in the confusing BL numbering devised in 1884. It is referred to here as "fol. i" to preserve the integrity of the foliation written on the Old English manuscripts (1-90 for the Southwick Codex, 91[93]-206 for the Nowell Codex).
